Say 'NO' to Bullying


We at Holy Rosary College strive to create a harassment-free environment that promote learning and kinship with fellow Rosarians. We are very eager to investigate, assist, as well as act upon reported cases of bullying- This includes physical, emotional and/or online cases. Don't be afraid to make a report. It's better than waiting for the situation to worsen.




The Department of Education has issued Government Permit (R-IVA) No. SHS-448, series of 2015 granting to our school a Provisional Permit to Operate the Senior High School Program.

Cyge Bartolazo, hinirang na Ikatlong Tinig ng Rosarian


Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, muling itinanghal ng Communication Arts Department ang taunang Tinig ng Rosarian. Ginanap sa ikahuling linggo ng Agosto, ang Tinig ng Rosarian ay linahukan ng mga mag-aaral sa iba't ibang antas ng mataas na paaralan.

The culminating activity for this year's Buwan ng Wika celebration, which was supposed to be presented on the last Friday of August (but typhoon Maring and monsoon rains had a different agenda), pushed through last night, September 6, 2013. This singing contest for high school students, aptly called "Ang Tinig ng Rosarian", was graced by the school's administrator, Tr. Mylene Pecson.

Rosarian Pride: Mathematch Champions


Once again, Rosarians take the limelight when they grabbed the championship trophy of the 26th Southern Tagalog Invitational Mathematical Challenge last September 2, 2013 at University of the Philippines, Los Banos, Laguna.

Siblings, Math Geniuses


For more than a decade, the Patupat siblings have been raking medals and trophies - winning quiz bees and academic contests - both here and overseas. The last two of them, Andrei and Albert, have recently added international accolades by winning in several Mathematics contests in Hong Kong and Singapore.

S.Y. 2013-2014


The school formally welcomes all students, old and new alike, today, June 13 in the first general assembly led by our administrator, Tr. Mylene Pecson. The gymnasium was packed with elementary and highschool students, as well as teachers and administrative staff.

18th Natural Science Quiz Show


Three Rosarians emerged second place in the recently concluded UPLB SChemES' 18th Natural Science Quiz Show at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos, Laguna.

MCL Awards Scholarship to MCL Cup 2012 Winners


Last January 8 was a great day for Rosarians as Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) awarded scholarships to 6 senior students hailed as champions in Brainmasters and IT Wizards Quiz Bee of the MCL Cup 2012.

Lady Rhinos Place Second in Shakey's Volley Tournament


Congratulations once again to our girls volleyball team for placing second in the Shakey's Girls Volleyball League, Southern Luzon Leg, held in Imus Institute, Cavite, last January 21, 2012.

A Math Olympian


Once again, we shone in an international event as one of our students, Albert John L. Patupat, garnered a silver medal in Mathematics category in the 8th International Math and Science Olympiad (IMSO), held in Naga City, Camarines Sur, last September 2 to 6, 2011.

Nutrition Month Celebration


In line with this year's theme: "Isulong ang Breastfeeding - Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo!", our highschool students had a cookfest last July 18. All their dishes should contain this year's secret ingredient: Malunggay. Malunggay is known to increase the production of breastmilk which is far more superior even to the most expensive infant formula.

YES celebrates Disaster Awareness Month


YES celebrates July as Disaster Awareness Month with the theme "Makialam, Makiisa sa Panganib, May Maitutulong Ka". Toyota tested their Traffic Safety Mobile Park in the gymnasium and launched it at Robinson's Mall last July 1.

June is Environmental Month


The Young Environmental Stewards (YES), our local eco-group, celebrated the month of Environmental Awareness with a series of activities, from rock concert to poster-making to tree-planting.

HRC Scholar Named


Early this year, more than 60 students from six public schools around Santa Rosa took the HRC scholarship examination. The results revealed Kim Kenneth S. Alinsod as the sole recipient of the grant.

Soon to Rise: Canteen Building


To provide better service and commitment, HRC administration began the renovation and expansion of the canteen. The construction of the new three-storey canteen building started last month and to be completed this coming school year.

HRC is now TESDA's CHS NC II Assessment Center


The first batch of successful Computer Hardware Servicing (CHS) NC Level 2 examinees took their assessment examination last March 2 and 7, 2011 in the newly constructed CHS Laboratory. This batch is composed of 28 Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) students from Saint Michael's College of Laguna

Competition With Loads of Heart


Our beloved school had the privilege to host the 5th Friendship Games of Autism Society of the Philippines (ASP) Laguna Chapter last January 24, 2011. This was part of the 15th National Autism Consciousness Week. It was a day of fun and friendly competition. Participants and guardians alike gave their best, not only physically, but mentally and socially as well.

HRC Adopts Tagapo Elementary School


Holy Rosary College responded to the request of the Department of Education to adopt a school and share their resources, especially their computer laboratory. Without any hesitation, the ICT department made room and adjusted their time to accommodate students from nearby Tagapo Elementary School.

Living by the Scout Oath


The 2010 Search for the Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines was held among three million men and our own Dominique John P. Villanueva was ranked 11th place.
